About GiftListHuddle
Gift lists that keep the surprise, and gift ideas for the people who are hard to buy for.
Why I built it
Hi, I’m Jason. I’m a husband and a dad, and I’m one of those people who was always asked, “What do you want for Christmas?” and told, “You need to give me a Christmas list.”
I never had a good answer. I’d say, “I’ve got loads of hobbies, just get me something to do with them.” Or I’d name a gift I really wanted, and it would be expensive. Either way, the present I ended up with was usually a little bit wrong. Not quite the right brand, not very good, or not something I could actually use for the hobby. Nobody’s fault: it’s hard to buy for a hobby you don’t share.
I suspect a lot of people find the same. Telling your family a rough idea, or pointing them at a hobby, doesn’t get you the right thing. So I built GiftListHuddle: a place to write down the actual gifts you want, with the exact product, the price and a link.
What it does
- You make a list for any occasion and share it with a link.
- Friends and family choose what they will buy, so nobody doubles up.
- Big gifts can be split, so a few people can chip in on something expensive.
- You, the owner of the list, can’t see who is getting you what, so it stays a surprise.
How the gift guides are made
I also find it hard to think of gifts I’d like for special occasions. So I made gift idea guides for hobbies, ages, budgets and occasions. They’re handy for me, and I hope for you too.
- Real products from UK shops. Every idea links to a product on the shop’s own site, and the price and stock shown come from the shop’s own product page, not from guesswork.
- Checked every month. Each guide shows when it was last updated and when its prices and stock were checked. Stock and prices change, so always confirm on the shop’s site before you buy.
- We use AI to help write them. AI tools help draft and organise the guides. The product details they’re built on come from the shops’ pages.
- These are ideas, not product tests. We have not tested or reviewed these products ourselves. The guides suggest things that suit the person and the budget, and we include items that are sold out or low on stock, because they are often back soon.

How the site is paid for
GiftListHuddle and the gift guides are free to use. Some links in the guides may be affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, the shop may pay us a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Where a link earns commission, the guide says so and the link is marked as sponsored. Whether a link earns anything doesn’t change what we recommend.
Some pages may also show advertising. Ads are always labelled “Sponsored”. Our privacy policy explains what data ads and analytics use, and you choose whether to allow analytics cookies.
