A big gift can be a statement or an investment. Most people only get one or two at Christmas, so choose carefully: something they will use daily, like a hot chocolate maker, or something they will enjoy building and then display.

All the gifts below cost over £100. One is a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser in Pewter. The rest are LEGO sets, from the Holiday Express Train and Donkey Kong Arcade to a Bookshop book nook, E.T., the Minifigure Vending Machine and the Burrow. Two are Friends sets for children. At this price it is worth checking delivery dates and returns before you order, since a large set is awkward to send back. Prices were checked on 13 October 2026 and can change.

Questions people ask

What is a good Christmas gift over £100?

A Velvetiser hot chocolate maker is a use-it-daily gift, and a large LEGO set suits someone who likes to build and display.

Are these LEGO sets suitable for children?

Most are for adult builders. The Friends Garden Restaurant and Heartlake City Grand Hotel are for children aged 12 and over and 9 and over.

Should I buy a large LEGO set as a surprise?

Only if you know the person enjoys building. A large set is a big time commitment, so for a gift it is safer when they have asked for it or already own sets.

Planning to give a few of these?

Put them on a GiftListHuddle list and share a link. Friends and family can claim or split gifts without spoiling the surprise.
